We haven't learnt to resolve conflicts without violence

Humans have undertaken incredible exploration of the universe, defied gravity, blasted off on space odyssey overcoming gigantic obstacles, built the Great wall of China & Burj Khalifa. Admired Shakespeare, Leo Nardo Vinci, Gandhi, Marx, Camus & Dostoevsky. Are enlightened & enthralled by their insights and wisdom. Democracy, equity & justice are cherished ideals. Have gained the ability for mapping human genes. Internet has enabled instant communication across the globe. Have invented tools to delve into secrets of cosmic entities billions of light years away, significantly extended life span etc. etc. The list of human achievements is endless. Violence, hatred, fear and suspicion linger between communities despite centuries of coexistence.
